Ubisoft has released the story trailer for their upcoming open-world shooter, The Division 2, as well as detailing when players can enter the beta.
The new trailer spills more details on the game’s story unveiling all three enemy factions for the game as well as offering more information on the game’s background. These three factions include:
- The True Sons, a paramilitary force decked to the nines with weapons looking to expand their territory. They’re led by a former JTF officer which makes this faction a pretty formidable foe.
- Hyenas, as you might gather by their name, they’re the faction of raiders that picks up the scraps and taking opportunities as they come. If they can’t make use of resources they scavenge, they destroy it so that their enemies cannot benefit.
- Outcasts, this faction is full of disgruntled survivors who were unnecessarily forced into quarantine and want nothing more than revenge on those who imprisoned them. This faction has little care for the world they’re bent on destroying and will spread illness and murdering anyone they see fit.
The Division 2 is a sequel which Ubisoft hopes to be the best in the series following years of development based on feedback from the first game. It’ll feature a substantial campaign with a robust endgame for all players.

As for the game’s Private Beta, Ubisoft has today revealed that those who pre-order the game will be able to get involved as soon as February 7 and will last until February 11. Space is limited, however, so if you want to take part, then I suggest grabbing a pre-order.
The Division 2 launches on March 15, 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Epic Games Store.
