Netflix has announced that Arrested Development will be making a return to the streaming service on March 15, 2019.
It looks as if Netflix is to continue flogging its dead horse that is Arrested Development as the remainder of Season 5 is set to arrive on the streaming service next month. This follows the first half of the season which premiered in May last year.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I love that Netflix “saved” Arrested Development, but trying to squeeze out a fourth season was a bit of a miss, and Netflix new that by remixing it ahead of the release of Season 5 last year. By this point though, just like Job’s poor jokes, they’re failing to hit.
Anyway. For those of you still clinging onto the series, the remaining handful of episodes are due to arrive on March 15, and according to the official synopsis:
In the second half of Arrested Development’s fifth season, pressures mount on the Bluth family as Buster heads toward a murder trial. The Bluth company is on the hook to build a ’smart’ border wall that puts them in debt and risks exposing a software hoax perpetrated by George-Michael. Soon the gay mafia is involved and it appears that even Michael can’t save the family this time. And Tobias becomes a Golden Girl.
