During Nintendo’s latest Direct broadcast they announced that a new BoxBoy game is coming to the Switch in the form of BoxBoy + BoxGirl.
BoxBoy + BoxGirl will feature similar gameplay from the original title that’ll have players placing a series of boxes in order to solve puzzles in order to progress through levels. As the title may suggest, BoxBoy isn’t alone this time as he’ll be joined by BoxGirl. In addition, BoxBoy will also have a new little friend called Qudy, who’s a little longer than your usual box.
Qudy actually comes to the game as part of a sort of bonus for those who manage to complete the game. So it seems there’s plenty to do even after you complete your boxy adventure.
Nintendo also gave us a release date for BoxBoy + BoxGirl: April 26. It’ll feature over 270 levels as well as co-op play with both BoxBoy and BoxGirl coming together to help solve puzzles.
