Neill Blomkamp and Respawn’s Vince Zampella have expressed interest in bringing Blomkamp’s Chappie into the world of Apex Legends.
Following Blomkamp’s involvement with EA Games’ Anthem, many have wondered whether we could see Chappie, Blomkamp’s emotion-feeling robot from the 2015 movie of the same name, come to Apex Legends.
Over on Twitter, Blomkamp replied to one user asking whether we could see Chappie in Apex Legends. His positive response was quickly followed-up by Respawn’s Zampella himself:

Whether or not this may actually happen is currently unknown, though chances are if anything we could at least see Chappie come into the game as a skin for Pathfinder, the game’s robotic support hero.
