Crackdown 3 was the most played premium title on Xbox One last week according to True Achievement’s latest weekly chart.
In this week’s UK Gaming Chart there was one glaring omission, of the four games which launched last week, Crackdown 3 was missing from the top ten landing in thirteenth place with around 10% sales of its predecessor, Crackdown 2.
The reason for this could be attributed to two things, the rise in digital sales, and that the game was included on day one as part of Xbox Game Pass, a £7.99 a month subscription which gives players instant access to Microsoft’s first-party titles on Day One.
Now, according to True Achievement’s the latter might be the case, as Crackdown 3 was the most played premium title on Xbox One only outshone by Fortnite and Apex Legends – two free-to-play titles.
Breaking the numbers down a little more, it seems the single-player campaign is what reached third-place in the charts, with the game’s multiplayer mode – Wrecking Zone – stumbling in at number twenty-two. This is likely due to Xbox Live Party support being unavailable at launch.
It’s worth noting that True Achievements is using their own data to get these figures and are not official stats from Microsoft. You can read more about these numbers here.
