When we spoke with Ross Gowing, DiRT Rally 2.0’s chief game designer, he told us that Codemasters “have concrete plans for 6 months after launch.” We recently learned what the first 3 months of this will include, with Season One focusing on Rally content.
The content will include the following:
- Week 1: ŠKODA Fabia Rally, Citroën C4 Rally
- Week 3: Monte Carlo Rally, Special Livery
- Week 5: BMW M1 Procar Rally, Opel Manta 400, Special Livery
- Week 7: Sweden Rally
- Week 9: Ford Focus RS Rally 2007, Subaru Impreza, Special Livery
- Week 11: Germany Rally
Fans of the first title will recognize some of these additions, with Ross Gowing stating “It was important for us to not just include brand new content for DiRT Rally 2.0, but also to recognize the fan favorites from the previous titles” the stages have been remastered, and the cars given a new lease of life. Of course, the brand new content is what fans are really interested in, and with some iconic cars entering the title, fans are sure to find something to drive in Season One’s content.
DiRT Rally 2.0 is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC February 26.
