Try not to shit yourself kids, but Nintendo is working on another Zelda remake, this time it’s Zelda: Link’s Awakening which will a loving remake of the 1993 Gameboy title many know and love.
This remake will take the top-down 2D-style from the original release and turn it into a similar top-down experience but this time with stunning tilt-shift-like visuals and 3D animations. According to Nintendo, the game is being “reborn as a new experience” for the Switch coming later this year.
For those who may have missed this title, Link’s Awakening is set on the Koholint Island after Link gets shipwrecked. Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you look on it, Link can escape by retrieving eight magical instruments and awakening the island guardian.
