Focus Home Interactive has released a new story trailer for their upcoming narrative adventure game, A Plague Tale: Innocence.

A Plague Tale: Innocence tells the heartbreaking tale of Amicia and her brother Hugo who are on the run from the Black Death, also known as The Plague. Set in the Kingdom of France, right in the midst of the Hundred Years’ War, The De Rune family are living peacefully behind their castle, but all good things come to an end.

The game tells a tale of adventure and bonding as the two must overcome some seriously dark scenarios. And rats, there’s plenty of rats. The trailer, which you can see below, dives into just a few of the things the two will face during their journey. It looks to be a truly emotional story.

Focus Home Interactive has also revealed that players can pre-order A Plague Tale: Innocence both physically and digitally. Digital pre-orders will come with extra coats of arms for Amica and Hugo, while retail pre-orders will feature certain benefits depending on the region.
