Apex Legends is finally getting its Battle Pass this week, alongside a new Champion.
That’s right, the first season of Apex Legends’ Battle Pass, titled Wild Frontier, is coming imminently, including a variety of cosmetic items and will be available for players to purchase in-game for 950 Apex Coins.
The Battle Pass is set to feature unlocks for most of the champions in Apex Legends, including the recently-leaked champion Octane, who is said to be launching into the title alongside the Battle Pass to start off the first season. Typically, most of the items are banners and poses, but players can also unlock skins for some of the titles most popular champions, including Wraith and Lifeline. Also included are skins for most of the title’s weapons, adding up to over 100 unlocks in total.

Taking a leaf out of Fortnite‘s book, the Battle Pass will be leveled up by gaining XP in-game, counting towards both players’ Battle Pass level and their overall profile. The final reward for the season is a rare skin for the newly-released Havoc Assault Rifle.
Interestingly, you don’t need the Battle Pass to start working towards your unlocks. If you’re buying the pass later in the season, your XP earned will still count towards your Battle Pass, instantly unlocking anything you have earned.
Respawn is also offering players a faster manner of unlocking the Battle Passes goodies. For 2,800 Apex Coins, players can purchase the Battle Pass Bundle, unlocking the first 25 levels instantly.
