Apple is planning an event on March 25 where it’s rumoured to unveil its own movie and TV streaming service to rival Netflix.

While things are being kept quite hush hush at the moment, Apple has teased what it has in store later this month via its update to media. In the invite, the words “It’s Show time” are emblazoned underneath the Apple Logo.

According to reports, this live streaming service will come out swinging as Apple has been working hard to develop a library of new and exclusive shows including one starring Steve Carell, Reese Witherspoon, and Jennifer Aniston. It’s also being said that Apple has a red carpet that’ll see big A-list celebs and media touting this new service.

This news comes at a very interesting time as Netflix, Hulu, and other live-streaming services are preparing for another rival in Disney+, a Disney-focused service that’ll also feature a library of original content based on Disney IPs and acquisitions.

While it’s all speculative at the moment, we’ll find out for sure when Apple goes live at the Steve Jobs Theatre at 1PM Eastern Time on March 25. It’ll also be live streamed over on Apple’s events page.
