DICE has revealed details on the map players will be diving into when the Firestorm Battle Royale game mode arrives in Battlefield 5.
Over on Twitter, the official Battlefield 5 account revealed a comparison between the map coming to Firestorm later this month. According to the account, the game’s biggest map, Hamada, is ten times smaller than Firestorm’s map, Halvøy.

What does that mean in comparison to other Battle Royale games such as Fortnite, Blackout, and PUBG? We’re not entirely sure as DICE hasn’t revealed how big it is in KM. According to this reddit thread, the biggest Battle Royale map is from Maverick’s Proving Grounds – a game which is set to see 400 players face-off on a map that’s 144km squared.
Is Firestorm’s map any bigger? Well, we’ll find out on March 25 when the mode arrives in Battlefield 5. Check out the teaser trailer for the mode below:
