Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, stars of the 80’s Bill and Ted films released a video today confirming that the sequel will take place next summer and will be titled Bill and Ted 3: Face The Music.
This has been long awaited by fans of the original and 30 years later they finally have their wish. Reeves will be reprising his role as Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan and Winter will be reprising his role as William ‘Bill’ S Preston Esq.
A plot synopsis has also revealed that the pair will now be middle-aged fathers who have yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny. A visitor from the future comes and warns them that only their song can save life as they know it and bring harmony to the universe.
I mean just judging by the video they released, it will be a bit strange seeing what we knew of Bill and Ted to be middle-aged dads. I mean one is more known as John Wick, and the other has barely been seen on screen since. Still, as a fan of the original films, I look forward to it and hope it isn’t just a movie franchise cash in.
Bill and Ted 3: Face The Music is slated for release on 20 August 2020.
