Although the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival usually takes place in October, they have announced a special advance screening of Pet Sematary at Nitehawk Cinema in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
Pet Sematary will be screened on April 3, two days before the film’s official release date on April 5, at 7:30 PM. Immediately following the screening there will be a Q&A session with directors Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer, and actor Jason Clarke (main character Louis Creed) and actress Jeté Laurence (Ellie Creed). The Q&A session will be moderated by Jason Zinoman, a writer with The New York Times.
Doors will open at 7 PM. Tickets will be available ahead of time, on March 27. The tickets are available off of the Nitehawk Cinema’s website and come at the sweet, sweet price of totally free. Of course, this means you will have to be on top of the website to ensure your free ticket to the event.
