On March 8 we finally got Devil May Cry 5. One of the many things the new game introduced was the protagonist V. Like protagonist Dante before him, Capcom will be releasing a manga series centered around V.

The series is called Devil May Cry 5–Visions of V, and appears to serve as a clarification of V’s backstory, which is only touched upon a bit in the actual game.

At this time, chapter zero is available online, though the series doesn’t officially begin until April 27. There is an unfortunate catch, of course: the series is exclusive to the LINE Manga app, which is currently only available in Japan.

Devil May Cry 5 has sold incredibly well since its release, topping sales charts both in and out of Japan. It isn’t so far-fetched to think that Capcom would want to ride the game’s popularity out and release the manga internationally.

You can continue checking out n3rdabl3 for further updates on Devil May Cry–Visions of V, and until then, you can check out our review, or the actual game on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and, potentially, the Nintendo Switch.
