The Behemoth has announced that Castle Crashers is making a comeback with Castle Crashers Remastered which is set to launch later this year on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
This classic Xbox Live Arcade title will have players hacking and slashing their way to victory both indoors on the PS4 as well as on the go with the Nintendo Switch (and indoors too, when you dock it, duh). It’ll also feature full HD Rumble support as well as multiple controller configurations, as well as single Joy-Con support.
It’ll also arrive with updated visuals and 60 frames per second. The game will also bring all previously delivered DLC as well as a new mini-game called Back Off Barbarian where four friends can play locally or online to save princesses – multiple princesses – and obtain animal orbs, all while arguing over who gets the best weapon.

The game is set to launch on PS4 and Switch this summer.
Oh, and Castle Crashers Remastered will be making an appearance at EGX Rezzed in London next month from April 4-6, so if you’re heading to the Tobacco Dock, you can check it out!
