Irish actor Cillian Murphy, known for his roles in Inception and Peaky Blinders, is in talks to appear in John Krasinki’s ‘A Quiet Place‘ sequel along with Emily Blunt and Millicent Simmonds according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The sequel is yet to have a confirmed title, but John Krasinski (the bearded guy in the first one) will be back to direct it. The film was a box office success pulling in $340mil, so I can see why a sequel is being made. It will be interesting to see how they do a sequel considering how A Quiet Place ended, but still, Krasinski did a good job so I have every faith in it.

Krasinski starred in the first one which was about his family surviving against creatures that attacked when they heard a sound, essentially making them live in silence. Their little boy and that stupid rocket toy though had other ideas! It is unknown what role Cillian Murphy will have if the talks to go through.

It is set for a 2020 release date, although this has not been confirmed.
