Godhood, the God game where players are tasked with creating their own religion, has smashed its funding goal on Kickstarter and is now eyeing up stretch goals.
It looks like there’s still some demand for god games (even though Peter Molyneux has been forced to go into hiding), and one such game, Godhood, has just surpassed its initial funding goal of €50,000 over on Kickstarter and is now looking towards a series of stretch goals.
The first stretch goal, which will be added to the game is a target of €60,000 is reached, are The Beastwalker and the Harbinger, two new disciple classes who’ll fight against other gods in the quest to be the ultimate God and the best religion ever.
Now the goal has been met Abbey Games has said they’ll be launching Godhood on Kickstarter in May 2019. The Kickstarter campaign, even though it has ended, will now serve to bring more content to the game when it eventually launches.
