It seems that you can’t quite stop the force that is Resident Evil 2 as its sales through the online service, Steam, reach a new milestone.
The remake of the 1998 classic has recently passed one million sales on the online gaming service. This means that Resident Evil 2 has outsold the franchises last entrant, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, in just two months as the latter has yet to still hit the seven-digit sales mark on Steam.
You can check out the sales data over at SteamSpy. Over there you can see that Resident Evil 2 is currently owned by between one and two million users on the platform, thus making it the third game in the franchise to reach this milestone along with Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 according to the site, with Operation Raccoon City still being a pile of piss despite.
