Sonic The Hedgehog‘s upcoming live-action outing has been one shrouded in mystery, but now we finally have answers as the speedy blue mammal has finally shown his face.
While we’ve seen Sonic’s muscular silhouette in the official poster for the live-action Sonic The Hedgehog movie, one thing that we’ve all been unsure about is how his real-life counterpart will look. Will it be a horrific mess like Mr. Mime? Or will it be oddly cute?
Thanks to Hamagami / Carroll, Inc. (via Polygon), who accidentally leaked the live-action Sonic by publishing its style guide, we know just how Sonic will look, and I’ll admit, it’s not that bad. I’ve definitely seen worse things, and hey he’s not wearing a scarf, so I’m happy.
More images can be seen below, which shows Sonic holding a ring and wagging his finger. Interestingly, he’s not wearing gloves but has white fur on his hands instead… which is a little odd.
Overall, the artwork is slightly different from the live-action poster we’ve already seen, this is clearly more artwork-esque than CGI, but it gives us a good idea as to what we can expect from Sonic the Hedgehog hits theatres on November 8, 2019.
