Sony has announced a handful of new PSVR experiences coming to the virtual reality headset in the not so distant future.
Last night saw the first ever State of Play, a new live stream broadcast, not unlike Nintendo’s Direct broadcast. During the 30-minute stream, Sony had plenty of games to show off, many of which were for its virtual reality platform.
Kicking off the stream, we saw footage for a brand new Marvel experience, Iron Man VR. This title has players zipping about the air and blasting down enemies as, well, Iron Man. The game features an interesting suit upgrade system, however, it looks to mostly feature aerial combat.
Check out the trailer below, Iron MAn VR is due out later this year.
Next up, be prepared to put on some new underpants as Five Nights at Freddy’s is getting a VR experience in the wholly original-named Five Nights at Freddy’s VR. The title will feature levels from the original game as well as some exclusive to this VR title.
There’s currently no release date for this title.
Following this, Sony unveiled that when No Man’s Sky’s big BEYOND update arrives this year – the one which brings No Man’s Sky Online – players will be able to experience the game’s vast universe in VR!
No Man’s Sky’s BEYOND update is due this year.
Sony has also decided to expand on their London Heist title by releasing a VR spin-off titled Blood and Truth. This title was announced at E3 2018, and got a new trailer last night which looks pretty decent.
Blood and Truth is set to launch on May 28.
Following all of this Sony rounded out their PS VR announcements with a sizzle reel of titles coming to the platform. This trailer also reveals a number of release dates for said titles too, check it out:
