Ubisoft has been ramping up the promotion for The Division 2 as not one but three videos for the game have been released, as well as details on the game’s first year of paid and free content.

First before we dive into all of the trailers, Ubisoft has planned an entire year of both free and paid content for The Division 2. Interestingly, most of the major content coming to the game will be free to all players. This includes three story episodes, the first of which will have players hunting down members of the Outcasts and the Black Tusk.

As for episode two, Pentagon: The Last Castle will have players access the Pentagon as part of a storyline which uncovers some secrets about the game’s story. As for Episode 3, we’re yet to get details on this.

Despite being free, Year 1 Pass holders will gain access to these three episodes seven days before everyone else as well as instant access to three Specializations which will launch later this year. Pass holders will also receive Classified Assignments, which are smaller side-missions which will give more insight into the game’s story.

Pass holders will also receive an extra Bounty per week, and an extra Project per day. All of this is summed up in the first of three trailers which you can see below:

The next trailer, titled “Enter the Dark Zone” gives us a glimpse at The Dark Zone in The Division 2. This is the PvP area which contains access to some high-level loot which players can work with, or against, each other to find and secure.

The Dark Zone can be experienced in the upcoming beta for The Division 2 which begins later today.

Finally, Ubisoft has drafted in UK’s hardest man, Ross Kemp, from everyone’s favorite Soap Opera, Eastenders, as well as the docuseries, Ross Kemp on Gangs, to talk us through some players’ experiences with The Dark Zone.
