We’ve been abuzz for some time about Jordan Peele’s reboot of The Twilight Zone, which is coming out in less than a month. But October 2, 2019, will also mark the sixtieth anniversary of the premiere of the original sci-fi/fantasy series that remains influential and much-loved today.
There has been an early announcement that a Twilight Zone sixtieth-anniversary bash will take place in Binghamton, New York, where Rod Serling spent the better part of his youth, and often paid homage to in his most famous show. The “Serling Fest” will be hosted by the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation, which is based out of Binghamton.
At this time, little has been announced about what the festival will consist of, though there has been a promise on the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation’s site that more details are coming soon. We know for a fact, however, that whatever happens at the festival, it will take place from October 4 to October 6, 2019.
