Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have announced the sequel we’ve all been waiting for, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.
After months of teasing a new Vampire: The Masquerade title, Paradox Interactive has finally unveiled the successor to the popular 2004 RPG which itself was based upon the long-running tabletop role-playing games.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will continue the Bloodlines story with writer Brian Mitsoda at the helm once again so players can expect the same deep, reactive, character-driven storytelling from the first game will be present in the sequel.
As for what we can expect from Bloodlines 2, we’ve been teased that some characters may return, which I’m sure is welcome news to many. In terms of story, it seems a blood war has been struck amongst vampire factions and it’s up to the player to choose a clan and attempt to strike alliances with those factions.
It won’t be simple though as every decision will have some sort of impact on the world, which itself reacts to every choice made.
Paradox has also revealed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will feature a number of clans at launch with many more coming thereafter, completely free. As for what factions have made the cut, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to launch on PC and consoles in 2020.
