Bethesda has today revealed a new trailer for Wolfenstein: Youngblood which shows the game in action. Oh, and there’s a release date too.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the series’ first “modern cooperative game” which has players come together to head back in time to battle the Reich’s war machine. Players will assume the role of one of BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters, Jess or Soph, who’ll be able to unleash hell upon the Nazis.
When will players be able to unleash hell? Bethesda has today revealed that the game will be launching on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, on July 26.
Pre-orders for Wolfenstein: Youngblood are open now for both the standard and Deluxe Edition. This edition comes with the Buddy Pass, which will allow players to team up with a friend even if they don’t own the game. Buddy Pass holders will be able to provide their pass to one friend at a time so they can download and play the game for free, as long as they play with the Deluxe Edition owner. Buddy Pass players will then be offered to upgrade to the full game at any time to continue their story alone or with other players online.
If that wasn’t enough, the Deluxe Edition also features the Cyborg Skin Pack, guns, combat knives, and hatchets.
Finally, for those who pre-order the game, they’ll receive cosmetic bonuses through the Legacy Pack. This pack includes the following:
- The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Jacket Power Suit
- B.J.’s US Army Power Suit
- The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Pipe
- The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Knife
- A WW2 Weapon Skin Set for all ranged weapons
