AMC have released a trailer for a supernatural horror series based on Joe Hill’s book by the same name, NOS4A2 (pronounced Nosferatu).
The series will follow Vic McQueen (played by Ashleigh Cummings) who discovers she has the ability to track the seemingly mortal Charlie Manx. Manx feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what is left of them into Christmasland (yes, you heard it right).
Christmasland is a twisted village of Charlie Manx’s imagination is Christmas day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic tries to defeat Manx and save the victims without trying to fall victim herself. Yeah, sounds fucked up right?
Now incidentally, I’m a huge fan of both Joe Hill and his novels and Zachary Quinto, so I’m looking forward to seeing how they can adapt NOS4A2. I mean the adaption of Horns was fun, especially seeing Daniel Radcliffe’s dodgy accent at the time. Oh and for those of you that don’t know, Joe Hill is Stephen King’s son! Crazy right!
AMC announced that it this 10 part series will shown from 2 June after the Season 5 Premiere of Fear the Walking Dead.
