BookCon is a special convention meant to connect book lovers and pop culture fans with their favorite authors and introduce them to new favorites. Riveted by Simon Teen is going to make it even easier to do that this year by hosting “Books For Breakfast,” an opportunity to have breakfast with six YA authors. Passes to the event are given out based on applications submitted by BookCon attendees.

Books For Breakfast will feature Cassandra Clare (The Mortal Instruments), Jenny Han (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), Sandhya Menon (There’s Something About Sweetie), Brittney Morris (Slay), S.K. Ali (Saints and Misfits), and Margaret Rogerson (An Enchantment of Ravens). It runs from 8:30-10:00 EST the morning of BookCon’s opening day (June 1), and winners of the passes to Books For Breakfast will get to chat and chew with the authors. BookCon’s Instagram announcement for Books For Breakfast also promises “exclusive ARCs and swag” to attendees.
