Following its announcement, Toge Productions’ barista sim, Coffee Talk has made an appearance in Famitsu announcing its Fall launch on PS4 and Xbox One.
Coffee Talk is an upcoming VA-11 HALL-4-inspired barista sim/visual novel in that players assume the role of the owner of a coffee shop in dystopian Seattle. Players interact with patrons, learning more about their stories and lending a helpful ear while also serving up a nice cup of Joe.
Initially set to launch on PC, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has revealed that it’ll also be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
With heavy visual novel elements, Coffee Talk also offers puzzle mini-games in that patrons will request certain drinks which the player has to try and create using the ingredients provided. This mechanic provides the catalyst for several of the game’s branching storylines, so be sure to pay attention to orders, otherwise, that manky tea you served could come back to bite someone in the ass.
The game itself is based in a fantasy world where humans, elves, succubus’, mermaids, aliens, and more, live together in… somewhat harmony.
You can check out the latest trailer for Coffee Talk below – which is a lovely 10 minute trailer showcasing the game’s soundtrack – and why not wishlist the game over on Steam.
