Just about a week and a half ago a rumor spread that the latest Story of Seasons game, Doraemon: Story of Seasons, would be translated into English. Earlier today, Bandai Namco has announced that Doraemon Story of Seasons would, in fact, be making its way to North America and Europe.
Like previous entries in the series, this game will be about creating a rural life of crop-raising and animal husbandry, along with additional activities such as foraging for items, making friends, and participating in special in-game events.
The major difference from other Story of Seasons games is that you’ll be playing with the cast of the Japanese children’s series Doraemon. There will be a more concrete story related to them, and marriage is out (it appears that the player character will be series protagonist Nobita Nobi, a child.)
To get a better idea of what you would be in for, you can check out our previous article on this spin-off game, and check out the short announcement trailer below:
Doraemon: Story of Seasons will be out in North America and Europe for the Nintendo Switch and on Steam sometime in Autumn 2019. If you really can’t wait that long (and are fluent in at least one Asiatic language), the game will be available in most of Asia on the Nintendo Switch starting June 13.
