In December, Guide the game was released for Android and PC via an itch.io site. As of yesterday, Guide was also released for the first time on Steam.
In celebration of Guide’s Steam release, Reframe Games has also announced that Guide will be 10% off during its first week on the platform. So, you have until next Tuesday (April 23) to get the deal on the game.
Guide is a platformer-style game with puzzles and collectibles and dialogue/a story which can be open to the player’s own interpretation. The game follows a young phoenix chick named Fia, as she learns to cope with her feelings of fear and anxiety. It is intended as a way to help both children and adults cope with those same feelings in their own lives, either in an independent or in a professional setting, with a therapist or similar figure.
Super excited to launch on @steam_games today! Check out Guide on Steam, and join Fia in her journey to fight fears and learn about herself! #guidethegame #indiegame #gamedev pic.twitter.com/0L9xdmVdPF
