Microsoft and Mojang have announced that the Minecraft Village & Pillage update has finally launched and is available in the Bedrock Edition of the game.
It’s been a long time coming. Following a series of snapshots introducing some of the new mechanics, bug fixes, and more, players of the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft can finally download the update and experience what Mojang is considering the biggest update ever.
What this new update does can’t really be summed up in a quick news post, but to highlight a few changes, players will find that villages are a little more exciting, furthermore, NPC pillagers will also become a threat for villages and it’s up to players to defend these defenseless villages.
There’s also a bunch of new blocks in the game such as Bamboo, campfires, decorative blocks, and much more. There’s also a wandering trader who players will be able to trade with. Villagers will also have their own jobs, and players can trade when them, too!
