Another week over and another week of new film and TV trailers. A lot of superhero trailers in both TV and film. In film, we have the eagerly awaited Avengers: Endgame and an end of an era with the Dark Phoenix trailer. In TV, we have a season 2 trailer for Krypton and also a new TV series in the form of Swamp Thing. Cheers DC!

Also, be sure to check out the TV trailer of The Boys. If you don’t know what it’s about, the trailer is certainly worth a watch. Anyway, sit back, enjoy the list and happy viewing!

Avengers: Endgame

Once again, I’m just going to reiterate how excited I am for the Avengers: EndgameLess than a week now. This one was the longest trailer Marvel released this week which is why it is up here. Although it features no new clips from Endgame, it is a nice roundup trailer of the past 21 films in the MCU. Oh, and if you scroll to the bottom and because I’m nice, I’ve added all the TV spot trailers. There’s a lot of them!

Avengers: Endgame will hit UK cinemas on 25 April and US theatres on  26 April. EEEEEK!

Dark Phoenix

A new trailer for Dark Phoenix was released by 20th Century Fox this week. It shows a greater look at Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey and her power struggles. The movie does look good but I can’t help see comparisons to X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Still, I hope I’m completely wrong. Check the trailer out below and make your own opinion:

Dark Phoenix will release in the UK on 5 June and 7 June in the US.

Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw

Yeah, you heard it right. If you didn’t already know the Fast and Furious franchise is having a spin-off featuring Hobbs & Shaw. Now don’t get me wrong, I love F&F, even though they’re wildly insane and unbelievable, but this is a film no one asked for. Why we couldn’t just have an action film with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham I will never know. Oh, and it also features Idris Elba as a super enhanced human… did I use the word unbelievable somewhere?

Hobbs & Shaw will hit the US and UK at the same time on the 2 August

Child’s Play

A new trailer for Child’s Play was released this week. The trailer shows more killer doll action, it isn’t something that appeals to me, but hey, I’m sure some people will watch it. After all, Mark Hamill is the voice of Chucky, so could be good.

Child’s Play will release in cinemas on 21 June.

Skin stars Jamie Bell in the main role and looking an absolute menace. Hard to think this guy was Billy Elliot at the turn of the millennium. The film takes a look at a white supremacist who desires to leave the life behind. I must admit, Jamie Bell looks as if he will be great in the role. Check it out below;

We Have Always Lived in the Castle

The Perfection

The synopsis of The Perfection reads, “When troubled musical prodigy Charlotte (Allison Williams) seeks out Elizabeth (Logan Browning), the new star pupil of her former school, the encounter sends both musicians down a sinister path with shocking consequences.” The trailer is definitely worth a watch, something completely different from what I was expecting.

The Perfection will be available to watch on Netflix on 24 May.

Archer 1999 Season 10

Season 10 of Archer is finally here, and after two disappointing seasons, it looks like they’re trying to freshen things up. It looks like it’s back to the Archer we know and love, and with them taking it on a space route, it opens it up for even more adventures. The trailer is definitely worth a watch.

The Rain Season 2

I can’t say I’ve seen The Rain, but it’s got a trailer for its second season from Netflix. Something to do with a virus and it looks good, maybe I should give it a go.

Krypton Season 2

The first of the DC trailers this week which comes in the form of Krypton which has released it’s season 2 trailer. Krypton looks at the story of Superman’s grandfather on errr… Krypton. The Boys Season 1

The Boys is another superhero drama based on a comic book which looks at a group of vigilantes that go after corrupt superheroes. It looks great, to be honest, and something I will probably add to my watch list!

Swamp Thing Season 1

The second and last of the DC TV trailers this week and this one is a teaser trailer for Swamp Thing. All it shows you is a look at the creature and that’s about it. Nothing exciting right now.

When They See Us Season 1

And last on the TV trailer list is When They See Us. It is based on a true story that gripped the US. The limited series will chronicle the notorious case of five teenagers of color who were convicted of a rape they did not commit. It looks like it could be good and worth a watch.
