Ubisoft has today announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is set to get a whole host of new content with Operation Oracle which lands on May 2, absolutely free.
Operation Oracle is a brand new narrative arc which includes two free missions for all platforms. In addition, Ghost Recon Wildlands will be free-to-play from May 2 through to May 5.
The new content drop will be playable in both single and co-op and will have players sent on a rescue mission for a Skell Tech engineer who has gone missing. Turns out he’s been taken hostage by the Unidad. But what begins as a simple hostage rescue develops into something much bigger and will have Ghosts questioning all they know about their so-called enemy.
This is the first major update to come to Ghost Recon Wildlands following the completion of Year 2. Players can pre-load the game ahead of its free-play weekend on May 1 on Uplay and PS4. Players who purchase the title during the free weekend can transfer their progress to the full game.
