SEGA has this week announced the release date and an additional ten games coming to the SEGA Mega Drive Mini.

SEGA’s mini retro console, the Mega Drive Mini is set to land this September 16 and will come packed with a bunch of titles. In this week’s announcement, the company unveiled ten more games coming to the console – though the line-up once again varies per region.

In Europe and North America, the latest line-up of titles include:

  • Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
  • World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
  • Thunder Force III
  • Super Fantasy Zone
  • Shinobi III
  • Streets of Rage 2
  • Earthworm Jim
  • Sonic the Hedgehog 2
  • Contra: Hard Corps
  • Landstalker

In Japan, the latest line-up includes:

  • Thunder Force III
  • Super Fantasy Zone
  • Musha
  • World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
  • Streets of Rage 2
  • The Hybrid Front
  • Landstalker
  • Contra: Hard Corps
  • Dyna Brothers 2
  • Game no Kanzume Otokuyou

In total, the SEGA Mega Drive Mini is set to include forty games, so there are plenty left to announce. It’ll also come with two replica three-button USB Mega Drive controllers, One USB to Micro-B power cable, One power adapter (North America only), and One HDMI cable.
