Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition will be getting a two-week free trial starting today until May 5. Fitting, considering Mortal Kombat 11 launched last week.
For those of you yet to dive into Capcom’s latest fighter, now is your chance as Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition is free on PS4 and PC for the next two weeks. This includes all of the game’s modes, too. For PC players, they’ll be able to play entirely free, however, PS4 players will need PS Plus to play online.
Players will also be able to play as all of the game’s 16 characters who include the likes of Cammy, Chun-Li, Ken, M. Bison, Nash, Mika, Ryu, and Zangeif, to name a few. If that wasn’t all, the free trial will also see the game’s DLC fighters become available for free too, this includes Akuma, Blanka, Juri, and Menat.
One thing of note is that the DLC fighters can only be used in Ranked, Casual, Battle Lounge, Training, and Challenge modes.
For those who don’t know, the Arcade Edition of the game added some much needed Arcade content including a storyline which is more of a reason to progress through the fighter and gain some knowledge of the long-running lore.
