Finally, all you creative Kazio types have a release date for Super Mario Maker 2, which is set to drop on June 28.
Not just content with allowing masochists to create torturous levels in varying different Mario game styles, Nintendo is set to also release a delightful Super Mario Maker 2 inspired stylus if you preorder the game.
While I never thought we’d need a stylus for the Nintendo Switch, it’s interesting that we’ve finally got an official one. Up until recently, you could argue that the Switch never really needed a stylus until the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update added a stage creator. I now fear that people armed with this stylus will create some truly depraved shit. And my body is ready.

The stylus itself is maybe the most garish thing Nintendo could’ve created. Coated in Super Mario Maker yellow and red, the stylus is adorned with images of various Mario characters and enemies.
There’s a limited edition bundle coming, set to include the stylus, a copy of Super Mario Maker 2 and a 12-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. Also, and my old man brain doesn’t understand how this will work, but if you preorder digitally, you can still get the stylus via a My Nintendo Code. Don’t ask me how that works, I don’t understand youth.
