Since the original reveal trailer for Dead Island 2 we saw next to nothing else other than a brief look at some gameplay, however, after that, the fate of the game has been left up in the air as to whether it was still in active development or not after it suffered delays and lost developers.
Fear not fans of FPS zombie smashing as THQ Nordic has since purchased Deep Silver so there is potential hope for the franchise yet.
Lars Wingefors, CEO of THQ Nordic, made a presentation recently in which the 5-year slumber of Dead Island 2 and its state of development have been disturbed. Ol’ Lars says that fans should ‘stay tuned’ for any news which comes out of THQ Nordic.
