Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order gets some new gameplay footage courtesy of Game Informer and it looks pretty spot-on.
The hype machinery ramps up as the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is getting closer and closer. The Nintendo Switch exclusive is still slated for July 19 and in the meantime, we’re sure to get a couple more glimpses into the game such as in this coverage via Game Informer.
We get to see a few fan favorites such as Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk in action, showing off their skill set and revealing some of their roles during fights, e.g. Captain America extending his shield to reflect any incoming projectiles, protecting ranged heroes while doling out some damage. The complete roster looks really expansive and we haven’t even seen them all.
Some of the cutscenes are also on display and at times the voice actors are spot-on imitations of the MCU actors. In general, the game looks like a mix between Action RPGs like Diablo and old school brawlers like Final Fight and Streets of Rage and I’m really excited about some more insight into the progression systems underneath the hood.
