Sony has revealed May 2019’s PlayStation Plus games and they’re two pretty great titles, though one may ruin friendships.
Since ditching PS3 and PS Vita, Sony’s PS Plus offerings have seemed a little bleak, that being said, they haven’t been shy with the types of games they throw our way. Last month saw The Surge becoming part of the Instant Game Collection, which is a pretty decent action role-playing game.
This month is no different. For PS4 players this month, they’ll be able to become the head chef of their group with Overcooked, the fast-paced, frantic party game where players must work together to prepare, cook, and serve an array of different dishes in a series of tricky kitchens. It’s a good laugh, but it could cause some friction.
If that’s not really your thing, or you simply don’t have any friends to play with, the next title might be more up your alley: What Remains of Edith Finch. This short “walking simulator” has players construct a narrative of life and death that’s woven within engaging environments. It’s a pretty fantastic title and one that everyone must play at some point.
And that’s your lot. These games should be available to all PS Plus subscribers now, and remember, you’ve also got yourself 100GB cloud storage to use up.
