If Pokémon Go isn’t enough mobile-related Pokémon for you, you’re in luck–a new Pokémon Rumble game is due for international release on iOS and Android phones soon.
The game’s full title is Pokémon Rumble Rush and appears to follow the same basic pattern as previous Pokémon Rumble games. Playing as toy Pokémon, you fight and collect other toy Pokémon to strengthen your team and face even bigger challenges.
You can watch a Beta test version of this game (when it was still going by the name Pokéland) from 2017 below:
Although previous Pokémon Rumble games have been single player, they worked with Streetpass and similar functions to benefit players that passed by each other. Thus, the last title in the series, Pokémon Rumble World for the 3DS, was technically a freemium game, but could be beaten without spending a cent if one was patient enough.
Hopefully, this upcoming game has similar mechanics.
At this time, it is unknown when exactly Pokémon Rumble Rush will be released internationally, though it is available in Australia already.
