Massive and Ubisoft have revealed that they won’t be tweaking the difficulty on The Division 2‘s first eight-player raid, Operation Dark Hours.

This weekend reports began to surface that a number of PC players had completed the Operation Dark Hours (within five hours), however, console players were having an incredibly difficult time. Of course, this had plenty of PC Master Race players scoffing at the console peasants, however, it spawned the question of whether Massive and Ubisoft should tweak the raid, at least for console players.

With ideas being thrown here and there, Ubisoft remained generally quiet on whether they’d be adjusting difficulty releasing only a small patch which fixed some bugs that were plaguing console players.

In this week’s State of the Game stream, Massive’s community developer Chris Gansler discussed making changes, however, for the most part, the raid will remain untouched, for now.

“We’ve heard rumors about us changing the raid difficulty… there are currently no plans to change that,” said Gansler. “We know the raid is harder on consoles, but we are happy with where we’re at.”

You can check out the full live stream below, but for the most part, it looks like the raid is staying as is for the foreseeable future.
