Ubisoft has today announced the revival of its old school looter, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot which will be coming to mobile in July.
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot launched on PC back in 2013 and was a free-to-play action role-playing game where players explored dungeons in order to secure epic loot, as well as the ability to use said loot to build their own castles.
The game didn’t last too long before Ubisoft closed it down just three years later in 2016. Now though, it seems Ubisoft want to bring the quest back, this time in our pockets.
The developer has announced that pre-registrations for the mobile version of the game are now open with the game set to arrive on iOS and Android on July 9. The game looks to be pretty much the same as the PC release except it’s ditched the castle building mechanics in favour of custom items for your hero.
The mobile release will of course be free-to-play and will have microtransactions. Players will be able to crawl dungeons for loot, tackling a series of monsters along the way before eventually coming face-to-face with a boss. As well as PvE, players can also take on other players in the PvP mode.
Players can pre-register now on the App Store or Google Play. Those who do will be eligible to receive the unique pet “Bradley, the Doomsday Messenger”, provided the game receives 1 million sign ups when the game launches.
