CBS All Access has officially confirmed that Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone reboot will return for season two after a successful first season.
CBS’s press release lauded the reboot for its “amazing start on CBS All Access, driving the most viewers on its premiere day for an original series to date.” Peele and the rest of the creative team’s success at storytelling and upholding the original series socially conscious values was also discussed, and the press release ended with CBS’s excitement about bringing fans a second season of the show.
The show is currently five episodes into its first season, with new episodes releasing every Thursday. It is currently only available on CBS All Access, CBS’s paid streaming service. It runs from $5.99 to $9.99 a month, but there’s a free trial that lasts a week if you’re curious about The Twilight Zone but aren’t interested in paying out quite yet.
As we are still in the midst of the first season of the reboot, a set date for season two’s release has not really been discussed quite yet.
