As we’re entering the summer gaming drought, the UK Gaming Charts this week has very little to say for itself as Days Gone continues its reign.
In fact, all four of the top entries from last week are in exactly the same spot, with Days Gone leading the pack followed by Mortal Kombat 11, FIFA 19, and Red Dead Redemption 2 in second, third, and fourth, respectively.
Oddly, GTA 5 is the only real mover this week jumping up to fifth place with a 14% increase in sales – the only title this week to have a rise in sales. Hell, it’s that quiet even Anthem is sneaking back into the top ten despite everyone saying the game is dead.
As for new releases, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age which launched on Nintendo Switch last week saw a debut in fifteenth place.
Fortunately, May does see a handful of big titles, including RAGE 2, Sniper Elite V2 Remaster, and A Plague Tale: Innocence, to name a few.
