Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer is set to launch sometime this month, Nintendo has revealed during an Indie World presentation.
Previously the game was rumored to appear at the end of May, but considering we’re in June right now, that rumor clearly wasn’t true. Instead, Nintendo aired an Indie World presentation in Japan, similar to a Nindies showcase in the west, and touched a little on the upcoming crossover spin-off.
Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer, according to the two Indie World hosts, will be launching in June in Japan. Presumably, that means the game will be launching in June worldwide, too, but Nintendo hasn’t confirmed that.
Seeing as the game had a tentative “Spring” release date, it makes sense that the game would be launching in June seeing as from July onwards we fall into “Summer” territory. One theory is that the game could be launching during E3 as a surprise “Available Now” announcement.
Nintendo is set to present their E3 2019 direct on June 11 at 9AM PT// 12PM PT // 5PM BST.
