Sims 4 closed out 3 hours of EA Play this year with the announcement of the Island Living expansion.
Sims 4 Island Living will be available June 21. The expansion is set in the sunny location of Sulani, where your Sim can take part in some rest and relaxation, work in conservation to protect the island, explore and get into some water sports. The expansion brings new Island-themed items and open-water gameplay.
Sulani is set to change over time. Take care of it, and you’ll see the fruits of your labor. neglect the island and you’ll see that neglect take effect. Origin has added more odd jobs for your Sim to pick up some extra Simoleons.
Mermaids and dolphins will be present, alongside an active volcano, so you might want to enlist your neighbors in a firefighting effort if things get out of hand. You can watch the full trailer below:
Additionally, a partnership with the It Gets Better Project was announced. Now you can access pride content for your Sim starting June 18, and soon expanding across to the Sims Freeplay and the Sims mobile app.
To close, the next expansion pack was teased. Sims 4: Realm of Magic was teased for release later this year.
