Following E3 2019, Nintendo has revealed some new characters and a sliver of game lore for Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
The two new characters are the Devout Loner Marianne of the Golden Deer house and Holy Relic Wielder Catherine. Marianne is shy around people but appears to have a special relationship with the local fauna. You can get a brief preview of her below:
Catherine, on the other hand, is a Knight of Seiros and has sworn fealty to the archbishop Rhea. She wields the legendary sword Raitei. You can get a brief preview of her below:
Raitei is one of several Heroes’ Relics, legendary weapons that were awarded to ten heroes of the land in the days of yore. Only those with the proper crests can wield the weapons, but we’ve seen very little else of them at this time.
However, we will be able to learn more about the other characters and weapons in just over a month’s time: Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be out on July 26 for the Nintendo Switch.
