LEGO Games has been building up excitement for their newest game LEGO Tower by taking a shot at the record books. Over three days, over 1500 fans got together to build apartments, businesses and little shops all into one, record-breaking LEGO Brick Diorama. A three-day event in Billund, Denmark, fans from all over came together to build their own additions to the giant diorama which included 554 rooms and countless Minifigures. The massive build weighs 400 kilograms (881.8 pounds) and covers 21 square meters (226 square feet).
“It’s thrilling to see hundreds of creative and passionate builders come together to construct the world’s largest LEGO® Brick Diorama, and truly an honor to be recognized by Guinness World Records for this monumental achievement,” said Edgaras Racinskas, Marketing Lead. “Our fans have given rise to a massive structure that is a testament to the imaginative power of LEGO bricks combined with the fun digital play to be found in LEGO® Tower.”
