If you’ve been counting the days since season 3 of My Hero Academia ended, worry no longer: a brand-new trailer for the upcoming fourth season has revealed that the hit show will return on October 12.
The 60-second teaser showed off plenty of returning characters, from the main cast of heroes themselves to the nefarious League of Villains. A few new characters were also shown, bolstering the franchise’s already sizeable roster; for anime-only fans, we can only speculate as to the roles these newcomers will play.
When season 3 concluded last year, the conflict between the heroes and villains had settled down somewhat. Series protagonist Midoriya and his classmates were busy training alongside their powerful upperclassmen, whereas the League of Villains were working on bolstering their ranks.
This will be the fourth season in as many years for the show, which has quickly established itself as one of the most popular ongoing anime series alongside the likes of Attack on Titan.
If you want to get into the series or need to catch up, or if you’re simply wondering where to watch the episodes in October, My Hero Academia is available on both Crunchyroll and Funimation. There’s plenty of time before season 4 starts airing to get yourself caught up!
