SEGA has unveiled the final 12 games coming to the SEGA Mega Drive Mini later this year bringing the total to 42. Oh, and there’s a special collector’s version coming, too.
Set to arrive on September 19, the Sega Mega Drive Mini will come packed with 42 games for the fairly affordable price of £69.99. Over the past couple of months, SEGA has been gradually announcing the games that’ll be included on the console and this week the final 12 came in:
- Virtua Fighter 2
- Alisia Dragoon
- Monster World IV
- Kid Chameleon
- Road Rash II
- Eternal Champions
- Dynamite Headdy
- Light Crusader
Once again some fantastic titles being added to the already bustling list of games that are available on the console including Earthworm Jim, ToeJam & Earl, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Street Fighter 2, and more.
If that wasn’t enough though, a Limited Edition version of the Mega Drive Mini is being released in Japan according to SEGA which aims to replicate the SEGA Tower of Power. These accessories include a SEGA CD, SEGA 32X, and a Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge.
These accessories don’t actually offer any features, they’re purely cosmetic, but who doesn’t want their own little miniature Tower of Power? Unfortunately, though it seems these accessories are limited to Japan for now.
The Mega Drive Tower Mini costs 3,980 yen and will launch alongside the console in September.
