The reboot of the GRID franchise was set to release in September, but has now been pushed back a month “to give added exposure”.

The release has now been pushed back to October 11, with buyers of the Ultimate Edition still able to play the game 3 days early, starting October 8. The game will still remain a launch title for the upcoming Google Stadia when it launches later this year.

Codemasters made the following statement; “With GRID receiving multiple nominations and awards at this year’s E3 event… the change has been made to give added exposure to a game we’re hugely excited about.”

With the release just a few months away, Codemasters channels will be “revealing more information and gameplay” before the title’s release.
